Spay & Neuter ASSISTANCE

The Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) helps eligible low-income pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered to prevent unwanted litters and reduce pet overpopulation.

ASPCI does not perform spay or neuter surgeries directly. Instead, we work with participating veterinarian partners who provide these services at their offices through our SNAP program.

Qualifications

Dog and cat owners with household incomes below $49,000.00 annually can purchase a low-cost certificate for spay or neuter surgery through ASPCI’s program known as SNAP.

Limit 2 certificates per family every 6 Months

Certificates

The certificates are $70.00 for male dogs and $75.00 for female dogs.
The certificates are $45.00 for male cats and $50.00 for female cats.

If vaccines are needed that is an additional $50.00.
Ways to pay: Cash, Check, or Credit Card.
There will be a 3.5% service fee on each credit card transaction.

Vaccines

All veterinarians in this program require that animals be up to date on their vaccinations.

Vaccinations can only be purchased in conjunction with the spay/neuter certificate for an additional $50.00.

Participating Vet Clinics

Spay/Neuter Certificates cover only the cost of spay or neuter surgery. If you purchased a vaccine certificate, please contact your veterinarian to confirm which vaccines are included. Additional fees may apply at the time of surgery, so we recommend checking with the veterinary clinic in advance regarding any potential extra charges.
